The cooperation period between the International Olympic Committee and Saudi Arabia to jointly host the Esports Olympics is 12 years, and both sides will regularly host the Esports Olympics.

The final decision will be made at the International Olympic Committee Session held before the opening of the Paris Olympics, and the specific host city, venue, date, and athlete promotion procedures for the first esports Olympics will be confirmed gradually thereafter.
The International Olympic Committee stated that in the first Esports Olympics, priority will be given to cooperation with international sports organizations that have already conducted e-sports competitions, and national (regional) Olympic committees that have accepted e-sports projects will also be invited as a priority. At the same time, the International Olympic Committee will establish a new specialized agency that is clearly separated from the traditional Olympic Games preparation and financial model.
